We are enculturated into consumerism and conditioned to seek refuge amid junk. The traffic of our consumption is so high, it adopts the specter of digital form, in which we must wade through the labyrinthine inundation of electronic media. Much this junk is designed to feed an addiction to validation. The drive to navigate this overwhelming abundance of content is the source of modern anxieties and a willingness to sacrifice privacy. My work consists of composite images and instant feedback that simulate the addictive properties of constant bombardment of information experienced through electronic media and the sacrifices to privacy we make to sate those dependencies.
